Ben
learns to walk again
Whilst out on a walk, Ben, a rescue
Border Collie aged 10-12 years, collapsed and was left with loss
of the sensation and motor function of his left hind limb. An MRI
scan showed that Ben had suffered a spinal embolism around T12-T13
and his condition wasn’t helped by the fact that he has severe
hip dysplasia. Ben’s chances of recovery were assessed as
poor and he was still off his feet after a month when his owners
contacted Greyfriars to see if we could help. Ben came into us as
an inpatient on 20th June 2008. Click here
