Professional and Continued Professional Development courses

These courses are intended to improve training and care standards in the hydrotherapy and rehabilitation fields. The courses combine theory with practical hands-on experience. Practice dogs and patients (dogs and sometimes cats) are provided. The lecturers are all experts in the subjects they are teaching.

Greyfriars is an Accredited Course Provider for the BVNA as part of their CPD Partners Scheme.
Our Professional First Aid, Hydrotherapy Theory and Practice and Pool Water Management courses are approved by the Canine Hydrotherapy Association.

They can be used towards the certification standards required for membership. The CHA have also approved Canine Rehabilitation for Hydrotherapists and Veterinary Nurses.

CHA shadow training days – In order to book practice days at Greyfriars you must be able to provide a certificate or written confirmation that you have satisfactorily completed a hydrotherapy course at a CHA approved centre.

Overseas students are very welcome at Greyfriars. We can help with organising accommodation and making travel arrangements and will do everything we can to make your stay interesting and comfortable.

Our quoted course fees include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%. Course fees are zero rated for VAT if you are not a European Economic Community resident – we will be pleased to advise you of revised course fees.

Booking Places are in high demand for all of our courses – so please book early to guarantee dates and times you would like. We can take your booking details and payment over the telephone with a debit or credit card.
