Learners must keep a log proving completion of a minimum of 20
hours observed practice
Learners are assessed on ten hydrotherapy sessions
Learners must complete 3 case studies using patient records and
reports, complete SOAP notes and show the use of clinical reasoning
for cases they have personally seen and treated

– Neurological conditions for canine hydrotherapy
– Water management for hydrotherapy pools and water treadmills
– Working professionally and ethically as a canine hydrotherapist
Includes bereavement, emotional resilience, coping mechanisms
– Personal and professional development for canine hydrotherapists
Guidance in identifying personal skills and weaknesses
Self reflection, career progression and further study
