Kirsty joined Greyfriars on completion of her HND studies in 2002. She was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2003. She always strives to achieve the highest standards in all aspects of her work. She believes that quality of life issues such as pain management and mental wellbeing are extremely important and often overlooked. Her unbounding energy, enthusiasm and empathy for animals have helped to make Greyfriars a very special place. Many patients, that have gone on to walk again, have Kirsty’s care and refusal to give in to thank for their recovery.
Kirsty joined the Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner course at the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine and qualified as a CCRP in 2005. She is a key contributor to Greyfriars’ training courses, involved at every level including writing, lecturing and management of the course syllabus and qualifications.
When not at Greyfriars Kirsty spends time having adventures with her young daughter Chloe.
