RECEPTIONIST | HYDROTHERAPIST/REHABILITATION ASSISTANT

Tanya has always had a passion for animals and has been a lifelong dog owner and dog lover. For as long as Tanya can remember she has wanted to work with animals, however a thirty year career in the insurance industry got in the way of that happening.

Her interest in hydrotherapy was initiated when her own Labrador was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and she saw first-hand the positive effects that hydrotherapy had on his mobility and quality of life.

Tanya was pleased when she was given redundancy and her persistent pursuit of Angela for a job finally paid off and gave her the opportunity to retrain. For her this turned a dream into a rewarding career and becoming part of a team who are truly dedicated to the rehabilitation and wellbeing of their patients. Everyone truly appreciates that Tanya has the most difficult and vital job in reception at Greyfriars – making it all happen and keeping everyone happy! Tanya’s multiple skills, and her flexible approach, mean that she can assist everyone in the team when needed.

Tanya has four dogs: Wooster a yellow Labrador, Falco & Remus are both Siberian Huskies and Troy is an Alaskan Malamute. Tanya’s family is completed by two grey Chinchilla’s Molly and Stacey. When not at work most of her time is spent walking, cycling or swimming her dogs.
